FOX TEK_Monitoring structure integrity

A Canadian company specialized in monitoring structure integrity. The two main solutions are:
- Pin Pint corrosion monitoring system: A non-intrusive monitoring system that works through the EFM technique (Eletrical Field Mapping), that consists of measuring the variation of the electrical resistance of the corroded pipe itself through a dot matrix. It has the following advantages in relation to the traditional systems:
. Best performance in High temperature
. Less intrusive in terms of manpower, because it does not require sensor change
. Does not require access boxes to be built in buried pipelines to access coupons or probes
. In low temperatures, it can be easily removed to other places.
SYSTEM TO MONITOR DEPOSITS IN FT PIPELINES:
This system is based on fiber optic sensors where the length is monitored, allowing the detection of maximum deformities. The main ones are:
- Pipelines with geotechnical risks on leaning points.
- Pipeline spans over rivers where there are risks of displacement due to bank erosion.
- Pipelines that span roads or railroads.
